Camilla Tassi
Designer, Musician, Producer
Camilla Tassi is a projection designer and musician from Florence, Italy. Design: Golijov’s Falling Out of Time (Carnegie Hall), Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo (Apollo’s Fire Tour), Pollock’s Stinney: An American Execution (PROTOTYPE), Deavere-Smith’s Fires in the Mirror (Baltimore Center Stage), Mozart’s Magic Flute (Berlin Opera Academy), Massenet’s Cendrillon (Peabody Opera), Handel’s Alcina (Yale Opera), and Berger’s The Ritual of Breath is the Rite to Resist (Associate designer to Peter Nigrini). She has sung with the Yale Schola Cantorum and Apollo’s Singers (NY Phil). 2022 Burry Fredrik design award and Robert L. Tobin Director-Designer prize recipient. John Horzen
Producer, Designer, Musician
John Horzen (he/him) is a third-year M.F.A candidate in projection design at the David Geffen School of Drama. He received his bachelors degree in Violin Performance from the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University, and is constantly examining the connective tissue that binds his rhyming loves of producing, designing, and communal music-making in order to find new ways of storytelling. John’s selected projection credits include The Planets (Woolsey Hall, Co-Projection Designer), Fires in the Mirror (Baltimore Center Stage/Long Wharf Theater, Assistant Projections), Affinity (The Iseman Theater, Assistant Projections), and The Kite Runner (The Hayes Theater, 3D Animator).
Maura Tuffy
Conductor, Vocalist
Maura Tuffy is a conductor and soprano based in Los Angeles. She has sung as a soloist under the batons of prominent conductors such as Masaaki Suzuki, Gabriel Crouch, André Thomas, and David Hill –– with ensembles such as the Los Angeles Master Chorale, Conspirare, and Yale Choral Artists. During her graduate studies, she served as the Principal Assistant Conductor for the Yale Camerata and a guest conductor for the New Music New Haven series.
Tuffy earned her Master's degrees in Choral Conducting from the Yale School of Music (Robert Shaw prize ricipent), and Bachelor's degrees in Choral Music and Vocal Arts from the USC Thornton School of Music.
